About Us

Kent’s love for the farm and ranch lifestyle developed at a young age in the fields of his family row crop farm. At Willmott Farms Inc, the family business, he developed a passion for working the land and an understanding of the value of property through agriculture. The opportunity to work in this environment from a young age has given him a strong understanding of business, agriculture and real estate. His passion led him to pursue an agriculture degree from Texas A&M. After college, he returned to the family business, which he and his father transitioned from row crops into a successful hay and cattle operation. Hard work and a dedication to customer service allowed Willmott Farms to be recognized as one of the top 100 Aggie-owned businesses of the year in 2014. Kent continues to gain knowledge and serve the community on the Anderson County Beef and Forage committee and the East Texas Livestock and Ranching Steering committee. Quality relationships with numerous landowners from whom Kent leases land or serves through ag services are key to his success. Kent continuously improves the value of both his and his customers’ land through proper management. Specifically, his expertise in sprig planting and the establishment of grass improves production value and aesthetics. Kent uses his experience gained through cattle ranching, farming and the ag service industry, to serve his clients with a true understanding of the value of farm and ranch land. His trained eye and experience with developing agricultural properties allow him to recognize the potential in undeveloped land for his clients. Kent lives in Anderson county with his wife and three boys.
