Lee Burton

Agent/Land Specialist

Lee’s career path led him to the land business in 2017.  After 6 years specializing in rural land sales, he has closed over $53 million in sales volume for clients.  Like many top land professionals in the industry, he too grew up with an extensive background in ranching and wildlife conservation/management.  The thing that places him in a league of his own is his ability to pastorally navigate the emotional gravity that often accompanies legacy-type land investments.  Empathy is his superpower when it comes to service.

“Land ownership is the greatest freedom we enjoy in this Country.  It not only offers low-risk wealth protection, but does so in a way that caters to what brings true happiness…the ability to enjoy unstructured time with the people we want while doing what we want in a natural setting connected to something much greater than ourselves.”  -Lee Burton

In addition to his real estate career, Lee serves as Executive Secretary and hosts the “Love the Land” podcast for the Texas Grazing Land Coalition (TxGLC).  Additionally, he is a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers’ Association (TSCRA), a Texas Agriculture Lifetime Leadership (TALL) XV alumnus, and a graduate of the King Ranch Institute’s Advanced Ranch Management certification program.

Lee and his wife, Alicia, raise their family in the Big Country area near Abilene where Alicia homeschools their four kids: Gage, Truitt, Cameron, and Clancy. The Burton family is active in their church and Bible Study Fellowship (BSF).  As a family, they enjoy ranching, 4H activities, showing stock horses, raising commercial feeder steers, hunting, camping, fly fishing, and spending time in the mountains.
